Marya Krogstad (b. 1958, S. Korea) Krogstad’s art practice is based in San Francisco and encompasses sculpture, installation, film, video/audio, and performance—current concentration being in installation/sculpture. Krogstad received her MFA in 2009 from San Francisco Art Institute; an M.A., B.A. in Art, and a B.S. in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento. She has enjoyed participating as an Affiliate Artist at the Headlands Center for the Arts, as well as in artist residencies at the Lucid Art Foundation and the Kala Art Institute. She has exhibited her work in San Francisco/Oakland/Bay Area/NorCal, Los Angeles, New York, Beijing and Shenzhen.
